What We Collect and Why
When a parent completes our career profile, we collect and store the following information:
- About the child: name, date of birth, school stage, and country
- Career profile responses: interests, strengths, career directions, and academic context
- About the parent: email address, used to deliver results and send follow-up guidance
- Career portraits: AI-generated snapshots, roadmaps, and guidance portraits — including parent notes and subscription details
We collect this information for one purpose: to generate personalised, evolving career guidance portraits for your child. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. We do not use it for any purpose other than providing you with the guidance you signed up for.
How Long We Keep It
We retain your data for as long as you are an active user of AI Future Clarity — that is, for as long as you have not requested deletion.
We do not set an automatic expiry on your child's portrait data, because the value of the service depends on continuity. A portrait that grows over time is more useful than one that resets.
If you stop using the service and do not request deletion, your data will remain stored securely in our systems. You can request deletion at any time.
Children Under 13
Our service is designed for children aged 10–18, accessed by their parent or guardian. All data is provided by and associated with a parent or guardian account.
If a child is under 13, we require explicit parental consent before processing any data. This is collected via the consent checkbox in our intake form. If you believe data has been collected for a child under 13 without proper parental consent, contact us immediately at hello@aifutureclarity.com and we will delete it within 48 hours.
How to Request Deletion
You can request the permanent deletion of all data associated with your child at any time. Deletion covers everything we hold: career profile responses, career portraits, parent notes, subscription records, and the child's profile.

Data Security
All data is stored in Supabase, a managed database service hosted on AWS. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorised systems only — no human at AI Future Clarity can view your child's portrait data without a specific support request from you.
