Who We Are

AI Future Clarity is operated by PathwiseAI LLC. We provide AI-powered career guidance for parents of school-age children. Our service is accessible at aifutureclarity.com and via our career profile form.

What Data We Collect

When you complete our career profile, we collect the following information:

• Parent/guardian email address — used to deliver your guidance and communicate with you about your subscription
• Child's first name — used to personalise your child's guidance
• Child's date of birth — used to determine the appropriate guidance stage and personalise recommendations (collected at subscription stage)
• Career profile responses — your child's interests, strengths, and preferences as entered in our career profile forms. This is the primary input for generating your child's guidance.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details

We do not collect government identification, financial records, medical information, or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Generating your child's personalised career guidance
• Delivering guidance to your email address
• Managing your subscription and sending quarterly updates
• Processing your payment via Stripe
• Responding to support or refund requests you initiate

AI-Generated Guidance

Your child's name and career profile responses are sent to Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI) to generate personalised career guidance. Anthropic processes this data solely to produce it and does not use it to train AI models. You can review Anthropic's data processing terms at anthropic.com.

We store all generated reports in our database so that future reports can reference your child's history and track their development over time. This longitudinal history is the core of our subscription service — each new report is informed by all previous responses.

Research Use of Anonymised Data

With your consent, AI Future Clarity may use anonymised and aggregated data derived from career profile responses and report interactions for research purposes. This includes research into how young people's career intentions are changing in the context of AI development, and how guidance needs are evolving across different geographies and school systems.

Anonymised and aggregated means:

• Individual career profile responses are never shared or published
• No personally identifiable information is included in any research output
• Data is combined across many respondents so no individual can be identified
• School, university, or government research partners receive aggregate findings only — never individual records

This consent is collected via a clearly marked checkbox on our career profile form. You may withdraw consent for research use at any time by emailing hello@aifutureclarity.com. Withdrawal applies to future use only — anonymised aggregated data already included in published research cannot be retroactively removed.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Each provider processes your data only as necessary to perform their specific function:

None of these providers are authorised to use your data for their own marketing or to share it with other parties. All providers are bound by their own privacy and data protection obligations.

Data About Children

Our service is designed for parents and guardians managing career guidance for children aged 10–18. We collect only a child's first name, date of birth, and the career profile responses you provide about them. We do not collect data directly from children, and we do not knowingly interact with anyone under 18 directly.

All data about your child is submitted by you as their parent or legal guardian, and is used solely to generate the guidance you have requested.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected data about a child without parental consent, please contact us at hello@aifutureclarity.com and we will delete it promptly.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your submission data for as long as necessary to deliver your guidance and handle any support requests.

For subscription customers: we retain all career profile responses and reports for the duration of your active subscription plus 12 months following cancellation. Career profile response history is never deleted while your subscription is active — it forms the longitudinal record that makes your reports meaningful over time. Requesting data deletion will permanently end your subscription and reports cannot be recovered.

If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it from our systems within 30 days. To request deletion, email hello@aifutureclarity.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Withdraw consent for us to process your data

Data Security

Your data is stored in a secure cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorised systems only. We do not store payment card details — all payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Our form provider and Stripe may set functional cookies necessary for their services to operate. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioural tracking tools.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
